The homes listed below are homes that we considered to still be very good deals, but just fell short of making the Best Buys list.  We wouldn’t be surprised if they sold quickly because the one or two elements that caused us not to include a property might be less relevant from buyer to buyer, depending on personal preferences.

This is a 3 bedroom/3.5 bathroom, 2,390 sq. ft. home with partial mountain views in Oak View.  Strategic tree trimming at the back of the property would provide complete, sweeping views of the mountains.  In our opinion the cost/benefit factor would be highly positive if one were to spend the money to do this.  Inside you’ll find an upgraded home complete with high ceilings, crown molding, and updated bathrooms and kitchen.  Most of the yard space is found in the front, with a patio located in back.  The driveway is quite steep, so anyone with a low-slung sports car or otherwise will want to check that out before purchasing.  There’s a lot of bang for the buck in this home; it’s worth taking a look.

This is a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom, 3,672 sq. ft. home on just over an acre.  To find with a home a bird’s eye view of the mountains and city lights – so close to town – is a rarity indeed.  The layout is unique (in a great way) – we’re not sure there are any rooms in the home that are rectangular or square!  The wood flooring looks great, as does the kitchen (love the tiled counter tops), laundry room, and huge master bedroom wing.  There is also a 639 sq. ft. guest house that features high ceilings and several balconies – it too looks fantastic and is done with unique architectural elements.  The views from the balconies, as well as from the main house’s back patio and pool area, are what truly make this home unique.  This was last on the market in 2016 – several elements have been updated since that time, including the kitchen.
